The CAS team is made up of people with a heart for the mission of the clients we serve, and we hope it translates into the way we work. CAS is a small full service architectural design studio, which allows us to be more personal in our approach.
Chad Alexander Smith, AIA, LEED AP
President
Chad received a Master of Architecture from Princeton University where he studied directly under superstar architects Michael Graves and Peter Eisenman and architectural theorist Mark Wigley. He also completed studies at the Ecole Nationlale Superierure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology. Chad is a Registered Architect in Georgia and leads all design and management aspects of the firm.
Danny Fitzpatrick, AIA, LEED AP
Associate
Danny earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Florida Atlantic University. He enjoys crafting a building in the computer, combing highly technical detailing with sophisticated renderings to help clients visual their design. He is a Registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional. Danny manages all phase of design and construction.
Jay Rhinehart, Assoc. AIA
Associate
Jay earned a Masters of Architecture from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where he also completed his undergraduate studies, receiving a Bachelors of Science in Architecture. Jay is an Eagle Scout, enjoys volunteering by working with youth, and likes to spend his time connecting to the outdoors. Jay manages all phases of design and construction.
Solangely Rivera
Associate
Solangely received a Masters of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor Degree of Environmental Design from the University of Puerto Rico. Solangely is an accomplished artist. She believes in thinking thru drawing and often sketches to arrive at design solutions.
Bo
Director of Hospitality
Bo is a 2019 graduate of Ruckers Dog Training in Gainesville, Georgia. Bo has a heart for the people he serves, enthusiastically greeting all visitors. He enjoys walking outdoors and playing catch with friends. Bo manages all phases of hospitality for the office.
